2009-02-24 - 'Beta 1.3 Released!' by diablo
It's been a long time since I've dished out an update and sadly this one only really contains bug fixes. But with all these out of the way I can move on to adding more enhanced features. But anywho, here is what has been fixed for this release: - Fixed some Skin Issues with Aura (Results/Tests) - Fixed DateTime compatability problems. << This will cause your old recording to no longer load in the plugin, but they can still be uploaded to the website manually. If in doubt, upload any recordings you want to keep before upgrading to 1.3. - Added 'Rolling Starts' whenever you are in Practise Mode on a Circuit. All you have to do is cross the start line to begin lap-timing. Warning: This feature might not work! All other modes are unchanged. - (Hopefully) Easier to start laps/races on start position. - Improved compatability with XPort (still only 90%) and full compatability with GPS Gate. Warning: I experienced extreme lag using GPS Gate. You may need a high spec machine to run COM Port replication effectively with Lap-time. Xclusion 2009-03-02 02:46:09	Hi, I've just installed Lap-Time a week ago and it was working with Xport.. But when I tried to open a Rally that I previously recorded, it says that the file is corrupted.. Wat could cause this problem? Did I do something wrong when recording? Second; After rebooting my computer, Xport doesn't work anymore.. guess I'm with the other 10% then.. I've found 2 other port-repl. programs which I will try, and let you know if it works: http://www.eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html and http://www.constellationdata.com/Gps%20Serial%20Port/Multiple%20GPS%20Serial%20Ports.asp And last but not least; Great software! diablo 2009-03-02 16:41:54	Are you referring to a Rally Track you recorded or a Replay? Replays won't load anymore but the track itself should not have been affected. I'll do some investigation just to be sure. So It was working with XPort, but now it isn't? That is even stranger. Cheers for the links to Port Replicators! They are hard to find. I'll give them both a test! Cheers!
Xclusion 2009-03-06 04:22:29	I'm referring to a Rally I recorded.. Do you think it could have something to do with me owning only a STD version of CF 2? I came across GPSengine on flux forums, and noticed there is difference in the 2 versions.. (although I can use the navigation with my own maps anyway..) Grtz! Xclusion
diablo 2009-03-09 23:50:16	Using the STD version shouldn't make any difference as Lap-time does everything for itself.
